Galleria Doris Ghetta and Catinca Tabacaru Gallery are pleased to announce Reliquiae, the first solo exhibition in Milan by Nona Inescu.

The term Reliquiae carries a double resonance: on the one hand, fragments of the body turned into relics; on the other, archaeological remains resurfacing as testimonies of the past. Inescu explores this tension through photographs and sculptures that evoke the fragile boundaries between human and non-human, nature and history, vulnerability and permanence.

Her interdisciplinary practice—spanning photography, installation, sculpture, and video—intertwines theoretical reflection with poetic sensitivity. In recent years, Inescu has exhibited at international institutions and galleries including Lentos Kunstmuseum (Linz), MAMAC (Nice), Radius (Delft), Centre Clark (Montreal), Art Encounters Biennale (Timișoara), KVOST (Berlin), basis (Frankfurt), Tallinn Art Hall (Estonia), and Museo della Montagna (Turin).
